Colin Cooley

His years of practical and applied knowledge, working the most physically limited to physically gifted, give Colin a unique perspective and undeniable edge in helping clients reach their goals. His clients have included athletes from the NCAA, NFL, Major League Lacrosse and The MLB.
He has been featured in USA Today and Breaking Muscle.

Colin is first and foremost a teacher. He has assisted in teaching the Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification for Dragon Door, StrongFirst Kettlebell Courses, StrongFirst Level 1 Certifications and Original Strength Workshops. He continues to educate new trainers in the field through a variety of workshops and college courses. He has spent over a decade teaching university health and fitness courses at American University as a member of their faculty.

His academic pedigree includes a Masters Degree in Exercise Science. He continually improves his working knowledge through continuing education and staying abreast of new research and education. He is certified through The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) a Functional Movement Specialist (FMS), Flexible Steel Level 1 Coach and an Original Strength Coach.

Colin is one of the best coaches I've had in just about any area of my life. In our form session he managed to really lay down the foundation for a solid TGU and even correct my swing. His approach is extremely practical and focused - just like a kettlebell workout! The time I spent with him immensely improved my form and really has given me the solid knowledge I needed to move forward confidently in my practice. Can't recommend him enough.
