Why dont you do 2 hand swings for a few days?I have realized the importance of tending to my calluses. Ordered the cornhuskers hand lotion and a stone pumice. In the meantime, I hate to miss my s+s workout. Would you stop until this heals, or tape it and keep swinging?
I actually got it from doing 2-handed swings. Im still in the process of transitioning to one handed swings. It’s healed quite a bit already. Should be back to it in a couple of days! Why dont you do 2 hand swings for a few days?
There is a recommendation by Pavel to use gardener gloves upside down. Have you tried this?I actually got it from doing 2-handed swings. Im still in the process of transitioning to one handed swings. It’s healed quite a bit already. Should be back to it in a couple of days!
No, it hasn’t been enough of a problem to try that. If regular callus maintenance and using the hook grip more doesn’t work, I’ll give it a shot. There is a recommendation by Pavel to use gardener gloves upside down. Have you tried this?
Yes, just did! Thanks! Sounds like a subtle art learned over years of practice.@Shawn Crespi

@Anna C had great recommendations on hand care somewhere on this forum. Obviously for avoiding torn calluses rather than fixing them.
