Old Forum 2 hand vs. 1 hand swings in SS BOOK

Why is SS book progression going from 2 handed swing and ending up with one handed swings?  This would assume that one handed swings are better then 2 handed swings, correct?

One would assume that 1 handed swings builds on technique from 2 handed swings and that both have their usage as described in the book progressions I think is the right word?

The book explains that one swing creates greater force, and the other recruits more muscle.

When going from two handed swings to one handed swings, should you be using the same size bell?

Yes, when 2 handed swings get very comfortable start mixing in a couple sets of one-handed swings. When those are comfortable, switch to all sets one-handed.
