Alek and Josh,

I was reading all your articles on crawling and I found this advice

"2) Add weight to any of the crawls listed above. How much weight? A lot, a little, via chains, chains dragging an object, a weighted vest, a little person on your back, etc.

I crawl inside so I can't use chains, have you seen any problems from people using weight vests to load their crawls? I know Original strength performance originally had advised against it, but I would really like to add in weight vest crawls.

What has your experience been?

Right OS Prefers a Chain or SLED to a vest.

Can you use a sled indoors?

What is the reasoning? Does it put too much pressure on your shoulders? Restricts movement?

According to OS Performance....

We do not recommend a weight vest. The distributions is completely different- It's shearing on the vertebrae, not compressive, which means it could be potentially harmful to your spine and other joints like shoulders and wrists.

THEY DO Recommend Chains or Sleds.

Yeah, you guys are right.

Well, I guess I'll just grow a pair and use a sled outdoors where people can see me.

I appreciate you all helping me come to my senses on this...
