Old Forum Any Experiences with Block Training? (Endurance)

Hello everyone,

after having fun with S&S and finishing the Simple Goal, I want to train a bit differently now: In TRKC and ROTK Pavel describes the concept of Block Training. My idea was to do 2 weeks PTP altered with 2 weeks KB quick lifts (or maybe the ROP), this would allow me to focus on deadlifts and dips whilst also doing KB work. According to ROTK Issurin & Lustig have researched, that glycolytic endurance (that's what I love the swings for) will degrade approx. after 14-18 days or so.

Has anyone tried out this block training method, is it really enough to build/maintain endurance with only training it every 2 weeks for 2 weeks? My biggest fear is that I won't be getting anywhere with my KB endurance and must start over at the beginning of every KB-Block...
