Old Forum choosing a staring snatch grip dl weight

I want to try out the snatch grip deadlift.

Anybody have advice on how to choose a starting weight?

I was going to start with 50% of my 5rm and stay there until I get good at the movement.

I was planning on following a 2-3-5 ladder for 4 rungs from Easy Strength.

Easy Strength said snatch grip DLs are one the exercises that build armor the best.
