I'm hoping Pavel is available to answer but useful responses are welcome.
I have the habit of doing a shrug at the top of the lift. This shrug isn't as pronounced with 400 lbs or higher but I try to do this out of habit, motivated to build my traps within the lift.
I read Pavel's explanation of anti-shrugging and the importance of lowering the shoulders ( loading lats ) to increase power for the lift and I've felt the difference focusing on this.
Is it bad form trying to incorporate the shrug for bigger traps and I'm a limiting my max weight with this habit ?
Thanks
O.
