Ladies and gentleman,
Have any of you tried out the Five Week Deadlift Program from the Strongfirst blog?

I am looking it over as I am going to try for a 1RM max of 500lbs come the end of the year. I am not much of a 1RM max guy, I usually go through my sets and reps making sure I hit everyone with good form at the percentage I have for that workout. When the strength block is done, if I did well and feel good I bump the 'max' I am working off of and start again. This plan has worked great for me and I will continue to do it in the future but since I have this goal and it has been ages since I went after a true 1RM I am looking for a plan to help me peak.
If anyone has tried the plan or anything like it and have any advice or points I would appreciate the input.
