Kettlebells and diligent practice of SF principals are sustainable on a daily, weekly, yearly basis. Both are resilient to time.

Exactly! Harald hit the nail on the head: diligent practice is the key! I will be 54 next month and can simply do it. It doesn't matter what "it" is; I am stronger and more capable than most people younger than myself. Simply showing up and doing it day in and day out for days, weeks, years...also, I am not afraid to gently push the envelope, be it with poundage (kilogramage?), intensity, volume, etc.

Oh, and I try to train like @Harald Motz writes: to the point, nothing extra, just the basics. Take care of the big rocks and make sure that they are all big rocks.

Just show up. And show up tomorrow....and tomorrow........and tomorrow.....
