HI,

my question is: have you any mental image during your training?

For example, for me it's very useful visualaizing a "king cobra" during my TGU. In this way i can feel the connection of every part of my body. The image maybe also a person (during shadow boxe i become Manny Pacquiao..).

For me it's a good trick for don't look at the finger but look at the moon.

 
 
Sometimes I imagine I am pressing the planet earth and all the people on the planet are screaming and falling off the planet falling to their demises  as the bell rises overhead.

Then I wake up and realise it's merely a 32kg Kettlebell. :-(
 
deep and unwavering visualization during breathing exercises which are needed for training and weightlifting.
 
Nathan you are right. Many elite ahtlehes use visualization technicques as a part of training and competition. Especially imagining  themselves making a good performance.
