I was so told, before to fly for my certification :
- you must save your energy if you want to pass, grab a very light bell ( from a male certified ) ??? ( not for me )
- I was so sore the first day, could hardly lift my legs to have a shower ( from a female certified )
- and from the same female certified : hands plenty of blisters, had to roll a towel to train, impossible to hold a bell without towel.
Did not care of saving energy, but, not sure of soreness and blisters.
Was not after a certification, but didn't want to fail either.
Rang a friend skin doctor and follow this :
- calluses still must be removed everyday with an appropriate stone.
- I used a medicated skin repair cream, very thick and slept with plastic gloves, to keep this cream working.
And this is work for me very well.
I also use a non rigid tape to train ( 5 cm ) applied where the blisters used to be.
Did 100 snatches test without any hand problem.
I was not sore, but don't know really why but this is what I did :
- took one tablespoon of bicarbonate de soude ( baking soda ) and stay 1/2 hours in a warm bath, with baking soda again, everyday.
Slept with a medicated cream " anti - soreness " ( don't really trust on this creams, but doesn't hurt anyway )
I don't know if this can work for everybody, I don't know if this work for me, but didn't have blisters and no muscles soreness either.
