In my ideal world as forum moderator, whenever you want to post something you would first look for an existing thread on the same topic.
IF that thread is relatively recent and relatively short, you'd just add your own post to it.
BUT if the thread you found was very long and years old, you'd start a new thread and begin by giving everyone a link to the old thread.
ANDIF it's very long but recent? Then please post in the current thread.
I post for two reasons - one to explain the above, but also to ask you to please PM me if you feel thread are multiple threads on the same subject that would be better if they were combined. If you do that, please give a link to each thread. When/if I do combine them, all the posts will appear in a combined chronological order.
