Do you ever cringe when you hear certain words?

According to a website called ‘Thought Catalog’ the following words make people feel uncomfortable.
  • Moist.
  • Blog.
  • Lugubrious.
  • Yolk.
  • Gurgle.
  • Phlegm.
  • Fetus.
  • Curd.

However, there’s one word in particular that makes me cringe. The word has nothing to do with the company, nor the methodology, but just the shear use of the word “wod” feels weird echoing in my ear drums.

Anyone else feel the same?
Looking forward to you thoughts!

MODS; I really hope this doesn’t break Acceptable Use Policy!

@Daveywhit, you're right, I'm less than thrilled with your post. People eating grasshoppers seems gross to me but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. CrossFit is CrossFit - lots of people like it, we've even seen articles like StrongFirst for CrossFit, and the two can co-exist and, in fact, do - some members of our leadership and quite a few of our instructors work at gyms with "CrossFit" in their name.

I'm going to leave my reply here, but I'm going to close this thread now.
