Im currently using 48 + 70kg kettlebells but want something lighter to start working on different movements (press, snatch and oh squat).

Would I fair better getting a single 36kg to bridge the gap to the 48 o double 32s ?

My overall goal is strength fitness and mobility.

Have you had the chance to try either? You are pretty strong with swings and cleans already, but jumping straight to pressing and snatching a 32 or 36 is not an easy thing to do IMO.

Double 32's will get you further than a single 36. And if you wish to do lighter single arm work, using the 32 at a slower pace will replicate what you could get from the 36. A routine centered around double kb front squats with 32's will help you meet your goals if programmed well.

My vote also goes to double 32s. In my experience double presses/clean&press have a lot carryover to single presses, i.e. if you own the 32s you probably will easily press the 40.

First of all..... !!!!!!!!!

Second... I think doing double work would add a new dimension to your kb training rather than lighter single work
