Old Forum Pavel 80/20 Powerlifting Article

In reference to Pavel’s 80/20 Powerlifting Article where you perform one heavy workout @ 5x5 for squat, bench and DL and then 2 light sets @ 5x5 for squat and bench.

The article states you stay at a particular weight until you get the 5x5.

The article didn’t mention this but I’m wondering if there is any cycling that should be built into the program.  For example, cycle back every 8 weeks or if you still have not gotten 5x5 after 3 weeks, etc.
