How’s it going everyone? Perhaps I’m overthinking it but how exactly does one find their 6-12 RM for Plan 551? What movement is it that we’re using our 6-12RM to determine our kettlebell size for the clean &jerk? Thank you.
 
I don't know anything about Plan 551 but for the BJJ Fanatics course, KB-SF, it is the long cycle.

Keep it simple: pick a bell that you can C&J with good form and take a video of yourself doing as many reps of C&J as you can. If it's less than 6 good reps, take a few minutes rest and try with a lighter bell. If you reach 13, put the bell down, take a few minute rest and try with a heavier bell. Review the videos and be critical about the form. You need 6-12 good quality reps of C&J for the bell that you tested.
