Strong Endurance Reading the plans templates

Hey guys, could someone help me with the understanding of plan 8 template.

When it says in the sets section PR x 1.5-2 for example what does it mean? Im not sure how a personal record wood work with that way of explanation, it also says it within Set 2/3-1/2 PR, I just dont get its relevance.

For example:

You chose snatches with 24kg - this is your 30RM.
The volume per set is 1/2 to 2/3 of this -> 15 to 20 reps

You do repeats (sets) until you reach PR x 1.5 to 2 (total volume = 45 to 60 reps)

Set 1 20
Set 2 15
Set 3 15
Stop (total volume in the right spot)
