Started kettlebell training in January. I owned some kettlebells prior to this year, but for whatever reason it never stuck. Just getting into it was huge for me. I wasn't as dedicated as I wanted to be, but I was working with the bells a few days a week.
After a few months, I hurt my shoulder attempting a 32 kg press. I wasn't ready for it. It was my fault. I've learned quite a bit through this. Physical therapy taught me a ton.
During injury recovery I read S&S and ETK. When I was cleared to lift again I took the time to re-learn everything I thought I knew about kettlebell training and started back at 16 kg.
Ended the year doing 24 kg ROP, and doing S&S on the "off" days (32 kg swings, 24 kg TGU).
2019
I want to get to the Simple goal.
I want to do ROP with the 32 kg.
I want to complete the 24 kg snatch test.
I want to do a few sessions with an SFG here in Denver.
