I ran for 2 hours today at a 8:15/mile pace, stopping every 15 minutes to do 3 one arm push ups on both sides (L24/R24 total). I am 5' 9.5" 180lb and 21 days from my 47th birthday (just for context as 8:15 is a strong pace for me now where 9:15 was when I was 195lb). In Pavel's "StrongFirst Roadwork" blog entry he recommends alactic training mixed with oapu and pistols. What would be the up/downside of doing aerobic roadwork? And what Easy Strength quadrant would this fit under?

Running like that is impressive!!  The OAP are as well-that's quite a few.  Nice work!!

I will be done with my second week of running this Saturday.  Doing 3 days a week right now.  Leg muscles are quite sore-especially calfs, feet, ankles, hips.   My last run I did 20 minutes without stopping at 6.5mph.  I know-quite slow.  My goal by July is 6miles at 7.5mph or faster
