Old Forum S&S and slamballs or clubbells

My wife is really enjoying the simplicity and the results of S&S. She would like to start using our slamballs and clubbells again however. What would be the best way to incorporate them into the program or would it be best to treat them as a variety day once or twice a week?
 
What's most important?  What's her goal?  If it's S&S, then add other things twice a week but keep them easy.  If it's the other things, follow a program for those and do S&S twice a week.

Her goal is to get into better shape and shed some fat. She's not chasing the s&s goals, just enjoying the journey. She is hoping to add the other tools for a little variety and spice.
