FWIW: For a few weeks now, I have been adding these two things to S & S a couple of times per week, when I don't make it to the gym to train MMA:
1. A little jump rope between reps of the TGU.
2. Some strike between sets of shadow swings, concentrating on applying the hip lessons from the swing to whatever strike I chose.
Fast and Loose between everything, trying to shake the tension off a quickly as possible. No rush, keeping everything crisp, but no wasted time either.
Seems to have really added a quick boost to my strength and power endurance.
The majority of days are straight S&S.
Again, just FWIW.
