Cole, it is an excellent improvement! Don't change what is working so well.  And do not set such an arbitrary goal—405 by Christmas.
 
@Evan: Thanks for the link. Wow, I love how that program is structured - simple, yet sound in theory. On a lot of other sites, too many programs are based around doing "22 reps with 76.7% of your 3.5-rep max on a 7-inch platform wearing 3-inch heels... with exactly 7 minutes of rest between each set and a gallon of creatine after the workout - DON'T FORGET THE BANANA SHAKE!"

The Strongfirst community never seems to fail me.

 

@Pavel, @Iron: It would be awesome to pull 405 in a Santa suit, don't you think?

Question: seeing as winter, exams, and a whole lot of year-end work is upon us, how would we go about altering the program to a every other day/M/W/F-esque format? As much as I love my time at the gym, it's getting harder to manage five days a week.
