Whenever we lift a heavy object that remotely resembles a stone I always say you have to lap it like an Atlas stone. The guys at work just look at me and ask what the hel I'm talking about.

On the subject of odd object lifting I had a new boiler installed last week - the old one was left in the driveway by the gas engineer, who was going to come back and pick it up the next day. It was a bit of an eyesore so I decided to move it. It was at least 90kg and awkward like nobodies business. I was kind of sad when they came to collect it, as it would have been a good odd object to play around with and lift.
It did have a lot of asbestos in though...so probably better they took it away before I did myself some mischief.
