Bodyweight Strong First burpee?

As far as I am concerned, there is no dedicated tutorial yet.
As I understand it, the modifications are made to allow for maximum power output i.e. "...maximum contracture against submaximal resistance..."
The video in the article seems to be quite demonstrative of this.

Basically 30 minutes of 1-2 reps every N seconds, where N is as long as needed to count to ~40% of a resting Counting Talk Test (big breath, then count up until you can’t). Then take 40% of that as your rest periods for 20-30 minutes.

In the comments to the article, Pavel said 1) to do them on non-lifting days (or some other “dynamic aerobic exercise”), 2) burpees are redundant if doing Q&D (go on a hike instead), 3) S&S swings 3-4 days a week is adequate “moderate aerobic activity”.
