Great discussion. I might do a few deadlifts as well. I played with some dead snatches yesterday to emphasise finishing my hip extension and break the habit of relying too much on the second pull. Very helpful
 
After doing deadlifts, I’ve noticed my swings feels slower... or more patient. I’m not forcing the bell down because I don’t want speed to interfere with technique at this point. Letting the bell slowly come down with gravity gives me time to mentally prepare the hinge. I keep challenging myself to wait for my arms to get even closer before hinging and I pretend I’m about to set the bell down towards the back a la the KB DL. This helps me get lower on my hinge without squatting.

I haven’t seen myself on video to compare but I’ve been feeling it in my hamstrings a bit more, so that’s a good sign.
