Trying to improve Press ups

Hey im Looking to improve on push ups should i do the training plan below or take all push ups out and grease the groove instead?

It may depends on your goal: strength-endurance (meaning number of repetitions) or strength ?

Being after the latter will usually transfer very well to the former.

For the 1st, plenty of options. Below is a good one:

For the 2nd, following "The Naked Warrior" and progressing toward OAP
