Experimenting with double KB jerks for Maffetone type training. The idea is that rack holds may keep HR higher for longer. And for the reason that double KB jerk is my favorite lift. My MAF number is 124. I am quite fit, so I suppose I can add +/- 5 beats to it, as per Mr. Phil himself.


2 x 16 kg jerk. Sets of 5 reps/30 seconds. Rest until HR goes down to 110/min.
100 reps in 33 minutes. On the average it took about a minute to get HR down.

Obviously the weight is quite light so I feel quite fresh.
