My name is Silvia, I am a strength and conditioning coach based in Stuttgart, Germany.
I was introduced to strength and athletic training during my basketball career, which unfortunately came to an end due to a complicated knee injury. Despite 6 surgeries on the same knee, 10 years of chronic pain and inability to run or to jump, I am (most of the time) pain free and able to participate in any physical activity with no restrictions thanks to smart regular strength practice. Yes, strength definitely has a greater purpose and I am honoured to represent the School of Strength, StrongFirst, as a SFG1 certified Kettlebell Instructor since December 2019 and SFL certified Barbell Instructor since June 2023.

"Become the best version of self" is my motto as well as my training philosophy. I aim to encourage people to regard strength as a skill, which can be developed at any age or fitness level.

Bachelor of Arts in Fitness Training (yes, you can study this in Germany)
Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach
A Human Being (unfortunately no certification available yet)

I started working with SIlvia in August of last year. I had this faded idea of myself as an ex athlete who at 47 years old had somehow become an immobile balloon at 125.7 kg could barely do two proper pushups. My girlfriend was sick of it, and worried about my health. See had seen me dealing with lyme, and was worried about my obesity and general health, so she bought me an initial couple sessions as a gift.

During these 10 months SIlvia curated my exercise routine, putting technical strength training and mobility at the core of training. To say that this style of training and Silvia’s guidance through it was revelatory is a bit of an understatement. Gone were the traditional options of training from my youth that demanded soreness and meatheaded approach to fitness.

Silvia's feedback was highly technical, based on developing skill. It is highly personal based on her recognizing how and when to push, recover, flow, and her careful attention to my physical and motivational state. It is both rigorous and generous. It extended to nutrition, sleep and the development of habits that changed my behavior toward my own physicality. It has been a transformative experience. I am fitter and healthier now that I have been in a decade, more mobile, have lost 30 kg, put on muscle and gained flexibility. You can see it in my face:
