Instructor Recertification

You put in the time and effort to earn your StrongFirst Certified Instructor status; Keep Your Blade Sharp!

“Keeping the Blade Sharp” is something we embrace as Students of Strength. Recertification allows us to be students once again and continue to be sharpened as “iron sharpens iron.” (Proverbs 27:17)

CURRENT INSTRUCTORS

To be eligible for the recertification options listed below, you must be registered prior to your current expiration date. You can view your expiration date(s) on your instructor profile page within the edit section. Click Find an Instructor to search for your profile.

You can recertify in several ways:

Attend your next StrongFirst Certification

Attend a Special Event and apply for onsite recertification

Apply to assist at a StrongFirst Certification (details on the Certified Instructors Only page)

Online Recertification (review eligibility details on the online recert page)

Recertification Prices:

$500 for re-attending your currently held certification
The currently listed price for registering to attend your next StrongFirst Certification
The currently listed price for registering to attend one of our Special Events
Applying to assist at a StrongFirst Certification (no tuition)
$349 for our Online Recertification platform

EXPIRED INSTRUCTORS

You worked too hard to earn your StrongFirst certification. Re-validate your previously held certified instructor status. Register* to attend a StrongFirst Certification weekend to re-earn your rank for only $750. You can recertify any previously held certifications at that event.

*Please email the certification licensee of the event you are interested in attending to verify spots are available. Proof of expired certification required. (Online recertification or cert assistants not eligible.) Email us for assistance.

With your recertification you will continue to have access to the following benefits:

Access to the Certified Instructors Only page (with exclusive content created for and available only to our Instructors)

Our Unified Recertification provides the opportunity to recertify multiple modalities at one time, for one price, at our Certifications. During registration one or all modalities can be selected to renew. Recertification testing will be completed during the certification weekend. Note: the Unified Recertification may not be available at all Certifications due to space and time constraints. Please check the registration page for the most up-to-date information and availability.

Our Unified Recertification is also the path towards achieving our highest instructor designation: the StrongFirst Certified Elite Instructor. Once you have achieved all four StrongFirst certifications, you will have earned the StrongFirst Elite title and the three-year certification time frame it provides (in addition to all the other benefits of certification).

To Achieve the Elite Rank:

StrongFirst Elite is achieved upon successful completion of your final certification where you recertify all currently held certifications by using the Unified Recertification.

For example:If you hold the SFG I, SFB, and SFL, you will recertify according to the SFG I + SFB + SFL requirements (see chart) and upon successfully achieving the SFG II certification, you will now hold the StrongFirst Elite designation.

To Maintain the Elite Rank:

You must select the Elite Unified Recertification option. Be ready to retest all Elite certification requirements (see chart). Passing all modalities will provide a 3-year expiration date for all four certifications.

Recertification at our Special Events

On an event-by-event basis, recertification (if available) will be included at no additional cost when registering for one of our Special Events. Testing will be completed during the weekend. Must hold a current certification to be eligible. Registration spots are limited. Check the event registration page for the most up-to-date information and availability.
