@B.Hetzler : good pointer. In my upcomming snatch practice protocol I will get any device out of sight and will have full focus on tuning into myself and setting myself up for many times and get my technique really dialled in.
 
Do you file, razor, lotion, etc? Or does the chalk prevent significant damage?
Chalk gives me a better grip, and helds my sweaty hands dry. On the other side it dries the skin out. High volume KB work builds up callus quickly and I have to file/rasp it down, to prevent them from tearing (takes really long to heal, then) and use handlotion on a daily basis. When I neglect that I regret that while training.
