your smoothness made me realise im brute forcing my get ups and possibly need to go back to owning the weight more
 
a nice quotation I stumbled across:

"Not everything that can be counted counts, not everything that counts can be counted."

Since beginning of this year, I am not counting that much. It gives me more freedom, detachment, exploration, quality, pleasure. I am still training, though.

rest is a big part of my training. Some GTG, some A+A repeats with adequate recovery for 20 - 40min. Lots by feeling. This morning I rediscovered, that I am still able to do a slow muscle up on rings. Acts of variety. No pushing. I have some tools and some basic skills at my disposal, I enjoy playing with.
 
A week of get ups. I do a get up here and there with my 50k. Some roll to elbow, some lunges, exploring my practice.

A week of swings. Came back to it after some good amount of months. I took 40k for a ride for reps of five for undulating repeats. The "simple" swing takes lots of practice to master.

swings and getups, get ups and swings for this week, not much else.

Did sitting and breathing practice in the morning before work. Empty mind, calm mind.
 
Another week of get ups and swings as my daily practice. Daily Zazen practice in the morning and evening, dwelling on emptiness. Some stretching. Totally enjoying, that I eliminated the clock and protocolling of training activities.

Yesterday I got a bug in my stomach. Frequent thin outcomes in the rest room, very reduced appetite, joints a bit sensitive, feeling a bit weak, weird taste in my mouth, heart rate some higher, Sleep accompanied by vivid dreaming: Yes, I am sick. A bit. I believe in cleansing power of such sickness. Going to a doctor, it may last seven days. Dealing for myself it may last a week. I will see. I think I will be over it quickly.

Currently, I am pretty stressed. I do admit that sauna helps a lot to relax and "escape" everything. To a certain extent, it cleans my mind pretty well. Plus, when you are in it, nothing prevents you from doing breathing exercises.

Exactly. Definitely got a bug in my gut. Throughout sunday I felt physically better quite quickly. I was able to train moderately. Breathing is enormous.
 
I'm going to go ahead and call you either "the calm Beast" or "the ehtereal Beast", you choose. You make things look easy when they are a big and resounding not.

exactly. I do my one hand swings for five reps, two Hand swings a few reps more, for 100 - 200 total reps, changing daily. Goblets 15 - 30 total reps. Get ups for 10 - 20 total mostly. Sometimes I extend one get up, as I do two or three roll to elbow and or 3-5 lunge to Standing.
That is currently my theme of Variation I am looking for.
