Rest day - very hot bath and some stretching.

30 minutes skipping - a lame idea for a 'jolt' but it was harder than I expected. I haven't done skipping in years, since I boxed. I plan to practice it more often so I can make a better go of it on my fortnightly 'jolts'. I need to build my 'springs' anyway and I don't want to buy running shoes.

Work break - Dive practice. Didn't feel very strong but al went well.

S&S 1HS and GU 24kg - knees we still a bit sore, I tried making my lunge a bit ‘shorter’ in the get up and I think that was the issue. Felt much better, possibly bending the knees a bit aggressively in the swing. I’ll keep these two things in mind and see if it clears up. Hips first!

Rest day. I seem to be only able to recover from 5 sessions per week. Maybe 6 every now and again.
As is my usual custom, I’ll have a very hot long soak in the bath today. I’m convinced this is good for me.

Sore knees - so I played around with 16kg split presses (hard-living comrade style) sitting on a pile of gym mats. 3 x 1,2,3.
