Hello guys new here, I'll try keep it short but would really appreciate if someone can point me to the right place to go as I know I can only get limited help on a forum.
I'm male 30, I'll start from when I was a kid. I was very active kid always playing sports, playing in the house, out the house you name it I was addicted to playing. Thinking back now things that stick out to me I remember my sister saying "why is your leg bent" my right leg used to point inwards but never troubled me as a kid I dont think or didn't realize. As I got to a teen I remember her saying "your legs not bent anymore" and I was fine but I also remember I used to be able to crack my neck A LOT to the point when me and sis were watching tv she could hear it if I kept moving my head left right fast but never had any issues in my teens that I remember. However around 22/23 I started playing on my PC a lot and I'd stopped being as active around age 18 however I would go gym but a complete noob not knowing what to do and on/off. I always noticed weird stuff about my postur even around 18/19 I remember asking my friend "do you have to roll your shoulder back into place" because that's what I used to do, my right shoulder is like coming forward, actually the whole right side is.
Anyway fast forward now, I'm constantly in pain, I have SEVERE apt but I don't understand how. I know people who NEVER did any sport and sit on the computer way more than me all day and they're fine maybe they have tad apt but their posture etc is fine.
My APT is as far as your back can bend and my legs hyper extend inwards due to it. I can easily put myself in neutral but obviously it's hard to stay. I have a lot of tension in the groin area and no amount of stretching helps. I try to lift weights, I've put on muscle etc but my posture still sucks, no amount of planking or anything. I also noticed since taking weight lifting more serious my left side is getting much bigger than the right or noticeably bigger and the power distribution is like 80/20 to my left arm it feels like. I guess this is due to my body swaying (if my feet are pointing forwards my belly button is at 10am) Also a year ago I started to develop a knot in my right lat/rib cage area at first it was just a niggle that I could get out but now its super tight and i'm constantly yanking my body to the left to try get it out.
I feel completely down about everything, I can't get on with my lfe at all. It's extremely frustrating because I'm young I look like I'm fit if you saw me but I feel like a deformity, my walk is messed up, my posture hunched etc. I've been to a chrio and it's just a waste of money the cracking doesn't do anything.
So I want to ask where do I go? Who do I go to? I live in London so if anyone can suggest where I need to go, I'm fearing I have degenerative disc disease or one of my vertebra are broken thats why I'm leaning to one side and that I have some kind of scoliosis. I'ts extremely demotivating as the one thing that makes me happy is exercise but I can't even reach my full potential on that...my progress feels so slow despite pushing myself, eating clean etc...
Please help me! I can post pics if needed
