@Ramdaflare , I'd say you can absolutely mix in some pullup work with S&S. FPP was just too much for me. I don't think you have to spent so much time at near max reps to be able to maintain or improve on pullups.
Thanks for your reply. I noticed that there are always a few breaks for me with S&S and FPP. When I'm traveling, there's no kettlebell and only a door frame that can't hold my fat a#@, so I have to throw in other calisthenics.
The mix is probably not great if I want to improve weights or reps, but it helps me regenerate.
