1 rung both arms then rest, then next rung both arms etc.

Presses felt good, cleans need more polish.

Really feeling it in mid/upper back, in a good way. Did my longest unsupported handstand straight after, felt really stable.

Cleans feeling better, focus on pulling elbow back and more of a vertical bell path.

Don't want to repeat it though.

Accidentally loaded the bar wrong. Went up easy.

1600 C+P ladder practice for 20 mins. 4x(12345), 1x(1234). Cleans getting better, working on getting elbow back and more hip drive.

RHS neck tightness creeping back in, I assume I've got an issue with my pullup technique, possibly due to dropping into a dead hang between reps?

Will film to verify, I'd rather not drop the pullups as I enjoy them

Cleans were worse today, more twisting and pulling with back. Not sure why, maybe not focused.

No issue with neck pain and pullups today, it's either the dead hang or shrugging my shoulders up at lockout

Have been having some pain in RHS glute med/hip attachment point. Turns out I've been forcing a severe anterior pelvic tilt as part of my lifting technique, which has been limiting and irritating the glute med on that side. Today I just used what the Mrs had left on the bar to trial new technique, feels a bit off but no glute irritation today so that's a win.

Onwards and upwards.

Pullups feeling the best they have, no wrist pain , bit of pec pain though, feels like for the negative. Feels like DOMS at present, will see how it goes after 3 days off.
 
How are you doing with two-week blocks of PTTP and S&S?
To be honest I haven't done an S&S session since June, and I haven't really missed it. I just wasn't enjoying it in the end. I think I will eventually go back and tackle Simple, but not right now, I'm liking the easy nature of the PTTP deadlifts and GTG pullups, but I know it isn't a well rounded program to follow for a long time.

I picked up Geoff Neupert's Easy Muscle when he released it a while ago, I've been thinking I will run it shortly, as half the reason I stopped S&S was I wanted some hypertrophy. I keep telling myself to wait until I finish this PTTP Cycle and then do it, but we'll see how my resolve holds up - there's no rsl reason I "have to" finish the cycle.

First set felt heavy, 2nd set better, think I didn't have my abdominal breathing set right at first.

"Body builder" pullups, 1 set ×6, 1×9 (TRM). Could have got 1 more in set of 9. Testing for Easy Muscle to see where I'm at.

GTG BB pullups sets of 4-5 × 5

1 Max pullup attempt with a 25kg kid on my back. Managed 1 ugly rep. Couldn't do that before.

Progress.

Did the supine session of Geoff Neupert's P3 program before bed. Slept great, but stiff neck next day. Not sure if from head rotations or Max pullup. Also some DOMS like pain in rear of shoulders.
