PlanStrong/BuiltStrong Monthly and Assistance Exercise intensity?

I know it is different within a week, but do all your main exercises follow the same intensity and volume dynamic for the month?

Also, within a week, do you use a separate intensity dynamic for assistance exercises or the same dynamic as the exercise it is assisting for?

It's best to decouple the exercises from each other, I would think, unless you have a competition coming up. More math to do, but worth it.

Alright, I'll work on splitting that out. I thought there might be an overlapping endocrine boost by running the same variant, specifically for the heavier weeks.
 
I think somewhere in the manual it says to treat the assistance exercise as it's own lift with separate volume and intensity dynamics, but about 20-30% of the volume from the lift it's supporting. So that means removing 20-30% of the NL from the main lift in one training month.
