020421 ES4FL: 1x10 McGill roll ups (program calls for ab wheel, but I don't own one...yet), 3x3 press @ 24, 3x3 renegade rows (program call for vertical pull, I don't have a pullup bar or anything like that, so I'm substituting these for now) @ 16, 3x3 DL @ 210, 5x15 swings @ 24; snow blowing driveway for 30m

Took a few days off due to a road trip with the wife.
Pls. check out @Mirek 's horizontal pullup bar adaptation. Posted yesterday.

020521 ES4FL: 1x10 side planks (program calls for ab wheel, but I don't own one...yet), 3x3 press @ 24, 3x3 renegade rows (program call for vertical pull, I don't have a pullup bar or anything like that, so I'm substituting these for now) @ 16, 3x3 DL @ 210, 5x15 swings @ 24; 35m walk

020821 ES4FL: 1x10 ab wheel (finally got one!), 3x3 press @ 24, 3x3 renegade rows (program call for vertical pull, I don't have a pullup bar or anything like that, so I'm substituting these for now) @ 16, 3x3 DL @ 210, 5x15 swings @ 24; 33m walk
020921 ES4FL: 1x10 ab wheel, 3x3 press @ 24, 3x3 renegade rows (program call for vertical pull, I don't have a pullup bar or anything like that, so I'm substituting these for now) @ 16, 3x3 DL @ 210, 5x15 swings @ 24; 28m walk

Cool thing is my walk is the same distance (about 1.3 miles) but my time is going down, even though I'm maintaining the same heart rate range (MAF zone), so that's nice! Also the swings are getting somewhat easier (and also not spiking my HR as much).

021021: off, doing stuff for selling the house
021121: ES4FL: 1x10 ab wheel, 3x3 press @ 24, 3x3 renegade rows (program call for vertical pull, I don't have a pullup bar or anything like that, so I'm substituting these for now) @ 16, 3x3 DL @ 210, 5x15 swings @ 24; 1.4m walk @ 29m
021221: es4fl: 1x10 ab wheel, 3x3 press @ 24, 3x3 renegade rows (program call for vertical pull, I don't have a pullup bar or anything like that, so I'm substituting these for now) @ 16, 3x3 DL @ 210, 5x15 swings @ 24; 1.1m walk @ 22min

Had to cut the walk short today as it's 7F out and I forgot to take my hat. Still, made some good time (probably helped by the pain in my ears :D )

Edit: Sorry it was 5F according to my watch...no wonder my ears were cold!

021521: off doing house stuff for move
021621: off doing house stuff for move
021721 ES4FL: 1x10 ab wheel, 3x3 press @ 24, 3x3 renegade rows (program call for vertical pull, I don't have a pullup bar or anything like that, so I'm substituting these for now) @ 16, 3x3 DL @ 210, 5x15 swings @ 24; 1.4m walk @ 35m

Walking time went up, mainly because there's still snow on the ground and my neighborhood is hilly, so I was trying not to eat s*** for long stretches of my walk.

021821 ES4FL: 1x10 ab wheel, 3x3 press @ 24, 3x3 renegade rows (program call for vertical pull, I don't have a pullup bar or anything like that, so I'm substituting these for now) @ 16, 3x3 DL @ 210, 5x15 swings @ 24; clearing the driveway for 35m

Had to clear the driveway from the 8+" of snow we got last night instead of walking. It's looking like I'll have to switch programs. I've been really enjoying the program, the hour workouts just are a bit too long with getting ready for a move and a new project at work.

022321 DDD (Daily Dose Deadlift): 5x1 @ 235

I need a program of no program since I'm so busy getting ready to move plus with my new project, so I'll keep it simple and just do pulls for now.

022421 DDD D2: 5x1 @ 235
022521 DDD D3: 5x1 @ 235
022621-030121: House stuff

I like the speed of the DDD program, but it feels like a little *too* little work. I'm thinking about adding in either the Giant 1.1 or 2.0...or maybe even 1.0 again.

030221 DDD D4: 5x1 @ 235

Gong to add in 1.0 work starting tomorrow, but will officially "start" the program on Monday.

030321: Planned to add in 1.0 (with dead cleans a la @watchnerd ), but ended up having to do a bunch of house stuff instead
030421 DDD D5: 5x1 @ 235

These 235s are really starting to feel easy (I know that's the point), which is nice.

030521 DDD D6: 5x1 @ 235; GIANT: 4x10 @ 24&16 @ 20m

Didn't really do a "phase" of giant. I liked the dead cleans (not sure I was doing them right...need to look at a video), but they were *definitely* harder than the standard cleans.

030821 DDD D7: 5x1 @ 250; GIANT 1.0 W1D1: 5x8 @ 24+16 @ 20m

Ok, looked up a video on how to do dead cleans better...ummm, holy cow they're a lot harder that way. Probably a good thing, but lordy.

EDIT: whoops, think I did the wrong day for G1.0. have to double check that too! :)

Finally back at it!

041221 GIANT 1.0 : 4x6 @ 24+16 @ 20m

I just did the easy day today since I've been out over a month. Hoo boy, it was harder than I expected. I actually don't think the 24+16 is a 10RM any more, so I might do a rep max on Wednesday and flip over to 3.0 instead.
