Question on "Strong As You Look Workout" from BB

In Pavel's Beyond Bodybuilding book he has a "Strong As You Look Workout" that has two components:
1. 9 weeks of daily high volume body part-specific training
2. 3x/week low volume powerlifts + pull-ups

Question: How many weeks am I supposed to do the second phase of the program? I'm on week 7 of the first phase and I've gained about 3 lbs. of muscle.

In Section 2 of your book you describe the "perfect split" for the 'Strong as You Look' series as:
Day 1 - chest
Day 2 - back
Day 3 - abs
Day 4 - arms
Day 5 - legs
Day 6 - shoulders
Day 7 - off
...repeated for 9 weeks.

You go on to say, "after a nine-week growth spurt, switch to an altogether different routine...e.g. the powerlifts + pull ups at 3 x 6 per lift". <--How many weeks should I do this second phase of the program?
