combining AXE and Isometric training

I was wondering if anybody has any idea if they are compatible? is it a good idea to combine them? if so, how would i go about doing it?

I just started using AXE protocols with my bodyweight skills training which has some isometric work. My recovery has been good, just listen to your body and be mindful if you need to rest or take an easy day.

i mean separate. Are they at all compatible? If so, how would i go about combining them?
would i do an AXE session on Monday and Thursday and do an Iso session on Tuesday and Friday? some other way?

Yes, in my opinion this should work. However, the devil is in the details.

How do you program isometrics? How many seconds per set and how much rest between sets? Does it make you sore?

If it resembles more hypertrophy training or makes you sore, do your isometrics the day after AXE. Otherwise the day before.
