Kettlebell “The Powertrain” - Goblet Squat/Swing program from Pavel’s newsletter

It doesn‘t make any sense. Why not just send the information with the e mail instead of using a URL.

I read it, liked it and wanted to do it in January. No I can‘t read it anymore.

There are things Strongfirst does I just don‘t understand.
I can understand putting the information in a link because it gets people to click through to your website, where they might buy something, and which generates data about your reader/customers.

But most of the newsletters link to articles that are permanently posted in the articles section of the StrongFirst website, so there's no reason to expect that they won't always be there and no obvious way to know which ones are limited time postings. You'd have to check the articles section directly to see if the newsletter article was posted as a regular article, and you would have no reason to do that unless you already knew that some of them are going to disappear.

Most people are already going to be in the midst of a program at any given time, and aren't necessarily going to switch to a new program just because it appears in a newsletter. So the potential "come back to it later" crowd is going to be much larger than the people who use it right away.

I can also see someone jumping into it the first week without saving the whole program, and then going back to see how to progress and not finding it anymore.

Seems like if you are sending information out in a newsletter, it's because you want people to have and be able to use that information.

I think the moral of the story is when you get a training tip for free, add it to your Training Folder. (You do have a Training Folder, yes?)
I actually have a StrongFirst folder and saved it there - I can no longer see the attachment.
Just a note that the Powertrain program is part of the premium practices on the StrongFirst Training App.
And I thought this was a sort of loss leader to make interest in the app as the brief article also mentioned the press program available.

Oh well !

I do "print to PDF" for most things I want to keep. This allows me to print it later easily, or keep it more-or-less permanently in a digital location. Not sure about a lot of things computery, so I have no idea how you could save something and not access it anymore! Weirdness.

I'm probably going to run this after xmas... I've been running the dbl jerk OTM protocol from the BJJ product, I've run swings and get ups almost exclusively the entire year (A+A, Q&S, S&S etc)

Thinking about doing get ups or presses before the power train segment

I think it could go well with the Victorious pressing plans

Thanks to the Strongfirst team for resending the email, I just happened to injure my wrist, and goblet squats and 2h swings are some of the only things that I can do well in a brace. The Powertrain came out at the perfect time for me, thanks again to @Steve Freides and everyone else at "HQ" for getting it back out to subscribers.
