Other/Mixed My new books

Other strength modalities (e.g., Clubs), mixed strength modalities (e.g., combined kettlebell and barbell), other goals (flexibility)
Well, I would like to say that I support Pavel and Strongfirst no matter which time the book is released.

And about the customer relationship...if the book is not great, I would give a feedback. But not right now.

If you lack the patience to wait for the release of a book, you will likely lack the patience to stick to the program :)

In all seriousness, speaking as someone who works in the Books business at Amazon, has authored a book, AND is a member of StrongFirst Teachers of Strength, I know that writing, editing, publishing, and promoting a book is a VERY challenging and time-consuming endeavor. Let's assume nothing but the best intentions, and not use this thread to complain about something we don't have control over.

Hey Mike, all you said is true. But its so that you knew this before, then the question is why do you Announce it so early... please Talk about that

@Mmabjj, StrongFirst's business practices are not a topic for discussion here. If you have suggestions you'd like to make, please use the Contact form available on every page of our forum and our website and send along your suggestions.

Thank you.

If you've let yourself become upset about this book, which i don't think you would have heard about yet if you weren't on this forum, you're using this forum wrong. IMO.
Haha you say this to a long time kettlebell lurker. I started with kettlebells 2007 and never ended. Pavels simple and Sinister is his / the best book/ training immo for kettlebell Training. I train S&S for one decade and now iam Just excited for a new program which i can Switch to. Q&D was a good book, but its Not for Long Time Training Like S&S.

And again its without any responsibility for the Community to Announce Something so early. Just my 2 Cents. But i will Stop now and do my Swings and get ups

Wow, so many people upset about not being allowed to play with a new toy. Personally, the news of a book from Pavel has made me go back and reread his older ones and rediscover some of those "gems". Looking forward to the book when it does come out, but come on guys, grow up.

The issue seems to be that you’re impatient, not that the book hasn’t been published yet.

It will publish when it publishes. StrongFirst and Pavel don’t owe anyone anything since no money has changed hands.

Besides, Speed Metal looks awesome!

This is good advice. There are a lot of gold nuggets that are just mentioned as an aside or observation in some of the older books or workshop video footage. My favorite is the one about bodyweight training as being the modality most likely to teach you about strength principles.

It has arrived on Amazon, but it's currently out of stock; publication date was 26th of September.

So, anxious to get a hold of it, but if it will take another couple of months, I'd be happy to wait a little longer, Pavels work is alway amazing en worth the wait (L)
