Other/Mixed Recent Fitness-Related Purchases

Other strength modalities (e.g., Clubs), mixed strength modalities (e.g., combined kettlebell and barbell), other goals (flexibility)
No, they don't have that kind of presence online yet.

but they have good prices. especially good, if you can pick up locally.
Yikes. I checked out 36kg. $78 for the bell but $157 in shipping.

that puts it around ~$3.00 / lbs. Sheesh.
I've seen some very nice bells go for $2.50 to $3.00 / lbs.
although, I know rogue quoted me a huge jump in shipping cost for a 48kg bell.

I've heard from a friend at UPS that at a certain box weight, there's a change in whether they expect employee joe blow to be able to handle it. and it changes things.

Yeah. Rogue e coat 36kg is $125 but only $55 shipping. Even a kettlebell kings comp 36 is only $225 shipped, so still cheaper than this bell. But like you said if you can pick up in person that’s a killer deal.

You aren't kidding, $100 for a 48kg if you pick it up is pretty dang good.
$100 For A 48 kg Kettlebell

That is an unbelievable price.

do you guys price match stores across the country?
Local Store

We are a local store; not nationwide.

We could not match a price like the, most places cannot. We and other store would end up losing money on it.

As per John, shipping on Kettlebells and other free weight is nuts.

Something is wrong with this picture of a 48 kg Kettlebell for $100.00.

This is a promotional sale price ($0.99/lb.) they usually hold about once a year. one year I saw it twice.

I find it to be serendipitous that I was looking forward to buying more weights from them when I moved from the west coast to the east coast I hadn't located another place like them. I lived near their location on Slauson Ave where I picked up my bumper plates and my first set of kettlebell weights during one of their sales.

Lo and behold, a couple of years later they opened a new location near me, here on the East Coast now.

their normal price, I believe is somewhere around $1.75/lb. depending on size (before shipping). And, I've never thought them to be ... shall we say top-tier stuff. but the poundage is relatively accurate, within Rogue's tolerances so far(in my experience). I look forward to picking up some cast iron plates later on. perhaps even when they're not on sale (they're usually reasonably priced without shipping, anyway.)

I am impressed by Kensui products. Their weight vest is very innovative and like their dumbbell handles, you can make your plates do double duty.

Practicing 2H inside/outside circles, shield casts and mills

Nice. I saw these folks’ equipment on a Wildman YT video, and was intrigued, as they make heavier clubs (up to like 56 KG). I have eye on a 24kg but they seem to have a reputation for SLOW delivery (and much longer than they tell you at time of purchase; and very poor responsiveness to status inquiries).

I have some elbow tendinitis that leaves me “not clubbing” at moment but if/when it subsides…..

You didn’t have issues?

I never buy tank tops. I'm buying this: Top Chook Tank
That horse cock shirt is magnificent. Boogz is currently one of my favorite influencers lol.

It looks like they sold out, but I got double 36's from Power Systems for $1.50/pound shipped last month.

Looking at purchasing a set of 20 kg Hex Dumbells here in Australia, there are a tonne of specials, cost of freight makes it too expensive. Notising a lot of home fitness equipment on sale online, which goes to show home fitness hasn't really died off since the Covert lockdowns.

I have added my first "in-between size" 28kg bell.
I had a Minimal-ish set of 16, 24, 32, 40, and 48kg bells.
it was on sale for $0.99/lb. and I was able to pick it up for free shipping.
Just had an inaugural session of 100 snatches ( 5/20, EMOM ). Many more to come.
powder coat finish is rough and grippy like a 6000-grit sandpaper.

I love the 28 for snatches. Its my " feels right" weight. My transition from 24 to 28 for snatches was fairly easy, the 32 on the other hand was far more challenging. In my case, the 32 has a thick handle while the 28 has a thinner handle similar to the 24. I guess that made the 32 harder.

I bought 4 kg jumps from the start since I figured I could use them as doubles. It was a good choice since it was very helpful for snatches and presses and I do use them as doubles attaching 4 kg to the lighter bell with a ratchet strap, or using uneven weights. I have from 16 to 32 in 4 kg jumps.
