Other strength modalities (e.g., Clubs), mixed strength modalities (e.g., combined kettlebell and barbell), other goals (flexibility)
Two Omnibell adjustable KBs arriving today! (UK company but apart from branding they look the same as the Mark Wildman and some of the other ones.)

Will sell my Rogue singles and with the adjustable pair and a pull-up bar I have a good home minimalist gym (although 90% of my work is in the gym or running atm).

I like Kensui weight vests. you can add up to 300 lbs of plates!
I ended up throwing my Kensui vest out.
It was a pain to get on with heavy plates if i didn't have someone to load the back, and the post in front kept me from doing pushups / burpees in it.

I liked the idea though, but it didn't work for what I was using it for.

What exercises are you doing with it?

Well done to your wife.
By the way isn't that the flag of Byzantium (Eastern Roman Empire)

I got this book called The five tibetans. I really enjoy it and recommend it. Easy to do with great effect. Good for many things like flexibility, mental awareness etc. It's a great thing for me to combine with my S&S practice. The book speaks about chakras, energy routes in the body, body energetic system and more. I didn't finish it yet, just started but after trying these exercises - it feels great.

165# tombstone sandbag from GoRuck. If I die lifting and carrying it, at least it will have another purpose…
Nice! I love GoRuck stuff. I have some rucking gear and a couple of their sandbags. Would love to get something like this one day. Looks like fun!

Also purchased a similar adjustable KB (from Eryx Fitness, France) recently and am pondering whether to sell my cast iron bells. What's interesting though, is that the company is now also offering an adjustable hardstyle KB (12-32 kg) and an adjustable clubbell (6-16 kg), both at an introductory price during the pre-order period. Really tempted by the clubbell, it even has knurling on the handle (something I've not seen on a clubbell before, but seems like a huge "quality of life" improvement).

Pavel Haul.jpg

Picked up some physical copies for my Pavel collection.

Paging through PTTP, I think it is still one of the best strength books out there. Its simple, effective, and easy to digest.

Resilient... I'm not sure yet lol. So far it is just a collection of exercises and I have no idea on the applications. Still neat that it is still available for sale. Who the hell even has a DVD player anymore? I had to go digging through the garage to find one.

I love them both still. Iirc, I took Russian Hockey Deadlifts and wall walks from Resilient - both are good juju movements for me.

I have a dvd player in my garage and that resilient dvd with it. It has some really good stuff!

4.5ft trap bar, 30% off.

I have a 7’ Oly bar, but it’s a pain in the garage ( it was mistakenly sent to me in Covid lockdown. ) and I feel much better lifting the trap bar. Also carries!!

Plan is to add one low volume/base building session a week to my usual KB stuff ( my main work ). 3 x 5 although I do have 5/3/1 so might end up doing 5 pros, but purely the 5 pros and nothing else. I can do it on the weekend or even after work. And get my wife to start using it.

Just been reading the daily dose threads. Intrigued !
