Mon 2/8

Beach bummer
Nice low tide today after work so I headed down to get in some locomotion. Started out walking and my calf was having no fun, a slow jog helped a little but I was having a crap outing.. the water was cold so I decided to take a cold dip in the waves.. ahhhh

Got in around 3 miles so it didn't completely suck. I'm going to see my kinesiologist soon, it's coming from up higher and I need to get past this problem.

Tues 2/9

4 Rounds
20 mace turns @ 22lb
7 pullup
5 band ring pushup

Snatch
12 NR @ 32k

Combos
4NR @ 32k (2 cleans, 2 swings, 1 snatch)

Double C&P
7 singles @ 24k

Double clean and push press
1 round - 3 rep @ 24k
Playing around with these, small doses for the shoulder..

1 set KB drag curls @ 24k (alternating 10 + 10 for 20 total)

Interesting combo. What does that look like? A step-up R/L and Xx turns R/L without resting before next sequence?
I started rowing for ~5 mins then did 40 mace turns, right after the turns I did step-ups, then 40 more mace turns, then rowing, then more turns, then step ups.. All continuous with mace and aerobic work in approx 5 min blocks.
I liked the format as it broke up monotony and added some different aerobic stimulation. I'm trying to keep some sanity until I can run again.
