Dydo's training

Briefly about me. Born way back in 1973, 178 cm tall and 110 kg. For the past 6 years I have only been working out in a gym with barbells, dumbbells and machines, but I need a change and am thinking of taking time out of my life for KB.

11/08/22
Workout with KB18:
3x (1,2,3) for a total of 5.22 min. I could have done much faster, but I still have no experience.
Snatch - 3x right 5 + left 5 total 30 repetitions for both hands.

11/10/22
Workout ROP with KB18 (Light day):
3x (1)
Row with KB24- 5x5
Single Snatch with KB24

11/12/2022 (Gym)

OHP-2,2,2,2,3 - 80% 1RM
DLTB-2,2,2,2,3 - 80% 1RM

Snatch KB-20 - 5x (5L+5R)

11/15/2022 (Gym)

Squat BB-5x40, 50, 60, 70, 80
Bench Pres (Warmup for KB)-10x40, 6x60
Workout ROP with KB 20KB (Medium day)-
3x (1, 2)
Chun-Up Paralel Grip-2,2,2,2,3
Single Snatch KB20- 5L+5R

I know maybe things don't look good, but even after this workout, it's like I haven't worked out. I know this is not the standard ROP program, but the goal was to complete my average day. I've also been feeling a bit of a reluctance to barbell lately. Apparently KB has taken over my mind.
In the gym, the heaviest KB was 20 kg. and there was no 18 kg with which I started the program at home. But somehow she also comes easy to me. Maybe when I get used to it, it will seem more and more like a light KB 18. But I will progress according to plan.
Today was the last day of my monthly gym card and I don't think I'll be renewing it for a while if the KB workouts at home go well.
Ho, ho. In the dressing room, some boys the size of my sons - about 15-17 years old - are talking to each other. One says: what are you going to train today, and the other answers: chest, shoulders and triceps. When I turned around and saw him, he must not have weighed more than 120 pounds. I don't know where these kids learn from. It's filled with anabolic influencers who lie about being natural and are doing great harm to the younger generation.
Maybe I wrote a lot and I don't know if anyone will read it, but I'll share anyway :)

Chin Up Paralel Grip- 5x2.

I didn't describe a few of the last workouts. In general it was BP, incline BP, OHP, squats, back machine exercises and arms exercises. The sets were 2 working sets - 6-8 and 10-12 /with a lighter weight/ repetitions almost to failure. I'm going to go full KB, but currently I've ordered a KB 20 to start ROP with, as the KB 18 is a bit light for me and the KB 24 is heavy. I'm thinking of starting it from the beginning of 2023, as during the holidays I will break up the training because I won't be at home many days during the weeks.

18.12.2022 (Starting ROP with KB20)
C&P-3х(1,2,3)
Chin-Up paralel grip 3x(1, 2,3)

I went to the gym today because they have KB20 and my order still hasn't arrived. Otherwise, I will train at home.
My idea is to switch to KB24 when I finish it, and only then will I think about how to continue.

20.12.2022 (Light day)

C&P-3х(1) with
Row-1,3,5

Today I trained at home with KB24 because the KB20 hasn't arrived yet, and at the same time I was too lazy to go to the gym for such a light workout. If you can even call it a workout. But I will follow the plan.

The new KB20 arrived in my office today. I have a bit more grip sliding and somehow the body itself is bigger compared to the KB20 in the gym. But I can't say it's uncomfortable for me. I did some C&P and snatch.

Hello friends. I hadn't visited the forum for several months, because at the beginning of January I got a bad flu, then I left KB because I was training with them at home, but I don't have the desire and energy to do sports at home. Also, my wife was worried about dropping the KB on the floor or on some furniture, and I was too. I used to go to the gym most of the time but now they have opened a new gym which is also close to my place. There are many KB pairs in it - from 8 to 38 kg. I'm thinking of starting ROP again, because in this gym I can combine with other things, as well as do the program correctly and do chin-ups after the stairs. I'm pretty heavy right now, but I'm hoping to lose weight and become lighter and more mobile. Barbells don't give me that. And at my age it's more important. I will start the program again and if nothing hurts I will continue it as long as I can. 38 kg. The KBs are a long way off for me to run the program all the way through. 5x(1,2,3,4,5) But when the moment comes when there are no such heavy KBs to continue the program with, I will start another one with double KBs.
Don't think I left the forum and was just another person who came for a short time:)
