Dropped back to 20kg for C+P today, per JohnK's suggestion. Will run 24kg on L days and reassess once I hit 5(1,2,3,4,5).

No swings today, forearm pump was nuts, I assume from the weighted chins since it's been a while.

Feeling strong, amazing what not failing a rep and a good pump does for your confidence.
 
@lais817 When I wanted to Swing the Beast some time ago I had a grip issue too. What helped me, and maybe it will help you, was hanging. I did Fat Gripz Hangs, Rope Hangs, and Fingertips Hangs. The last Hang was very halpful as I noticed that my grip is failing by opening grip during swings. Try it and me know.

Thanks Mike, that sounds like my grip issue as well, I'll try the fingertip hangs.

Few BW chins to nippers, "body builder style". Liked the contraction in my rhomboids, will throw a few of these in as I go.

Long session, 75mins. Wasn't feeling it during the TGU especially but got into it once I started. Enjoying swings again, gotta build that hip strength to clean the 32 better

Packed up the kids monkey bars so no chins or hanging today. 10 sets of 5 2HS next time. 2hs with the 24kg leave me with DOMS for days in the groin/adductors, 32kg don't even touch the sides.

LHS outside hip has been tight and painful the last 2 days, I dunno if it's from the 32kg swings (too much too soon), or from jogging around the block barefoot twice. Read something that said stretching the glute in the 90/90 style can aggregate it, see how we go.

TGU @32kg feeling good, today I really focused on whatever is letting me down on my LHS lower medial scap (lower trap?), this seems to have been affecting my training forever and I only now seem to be able to dial in my form to hit it.

20kg swings because I need to do them. Not as enjoyable as the 32kg 2HS but.
