I hit timeless Simple about a month ago, and I've recently transitioned to work towards timeless Simple. As such, I've started working the 40kg two sets out of 10, with one workout a week of hard pushing the time on a 24kg.
After just a week and a half of this, my lats are burning like nobody's business. I didn't decrease workout frequency for the first week, so may have overdone it a bit, but I'm curious if this is a common problem when jumping to the 40kg. It almost feels like I pulled a lat, but I'd really prefer not to have to backoff practicing for a couple weeks as I don't want to backslide.
Should I rest for a week or two, or maybe just practice with the 24kg while my back heals? This is my first time being able to use enough weight that I need to worry about recovery, so this is all still a bit new to me.
Thanks in advance!
