Monday 23 april 2018 The 40 kilogram !
I know it's nothing spectacular, but I've set 2 personal best's with the heaviest bell I have here.

* 5x Strong Two-hand-swings with 40 kg
* Turkish Get-Up 40 kg, first right hand, followed by a very shaky left !!

I got serious about kettle bell training about 11/12 month's ago, so I'm pretty content with this ! I've tried a bent press with 40kg before, but bringing it to rack made me realize I wasn't ready. I've tried to swing it before, but it would make me lose balance in the past. IMO it's too heavy to work with for TGU's, but at least I can move it without breaking my face with it :)

** After reviewing ETK I learned that I don't press myself away from the bell, instead I focus on pressing the bell up. Pressing up = weak

** double cleans with a pair of 24s is really heavy. I'm still trying to find the perfect stance, don't want to hit my knees, or turn my feet too much outward.

* Left technique is improving. I forgot to note my 24 kg RM improved from 4 R / 3 L to 6R / 6L, tested it 2 weeks ago. I have pressed half my body weight with Right already, but couldn't with Left. For some reason I'm intimidated by the thought of doing 5 x 4L with 24 kg, although I'm very capable. Of course I try to keep my work outs short. Under 45 minutes at least. Unsure what I will do with Thursday.. taking 2 offday's in a row will bore me, will make me feel bad. I would just do swings, but the skin of my hands need rest. It gets really dry during the day, too warm out here the past 2 day's.

And it sucks to not being able to catch the bell during cleans with my fingers. Really frustrating. I need either gloves or chalk for ballistics with 24kg or higher or the bell slips from my hands. Unless I grab the handle really tight.. but yeah

Guess I'm more of a Grinder ROFL
