Tom’s Practice Log

S&S Day.

PGS:
2 x 5 24kg, 1 x 5 32kg

Swing:
Right - 5 x 10 32kg
Left - 5 x 10 32kg
Was feeling stronger today and had more spare time so went 32kg all swings.
TGU:
RH - 3 x 1 32kg, 2 x 1 24kg
LH - 2 x 1 32kg, 3 x 1 24kg
Attempted the same but left side let me down, I’m just not getting the pivot correct.


Chin-ups: 3 x 6 reps
 
Doubles Day:

Warm up: 3 x 5 PGS 24kg

OMEM:

10:00.
10 x 3 reps - Clean and Push Press 44kg

5:00.
5 x 5 reps - Chin-ups

3:00.
3 x 3 reps - Clean and squat 44kg

To Finish:
Bar hang 1 x 50 seconds

Straight into session, skipping warm up as warm enough!

Feeling tired, lot of driving and very hot, so keeping it light.

Run with eldest son, very warm (29 degrees); longer route this time with additional hill. 4.6km, 28:43.

Staying at 24kg as swings have exhausted me, I think it’s the humidity, feeling dehydrated.

Two aborted tries with (Left) TGU, straight into trying to ‘sit-up’, I think I either need to invest in further tuition or, invest in a 28kg. I’m toying with 28kg as I know what I’m doing wrong, I think it’s now psychological as I’ve been battling with it for so long.

Chin-ups: 1 x 12 reps.
