After watching a video of myself clean and jerking I realized I wasn't lifting with intent. It was "how fast" I can go from the clean to the jerk to the down swing again. Reps were fast/smooth but I never allowed myself the time to catch the clean pause, jerk get underneath the bell, stand up tall, re rack then down swing.
After re watching the videos for Kettlebells for BJJ, the gentlemen lifted with intent and pauses between the lifts.
Retested;
24kg easy 6 reps, parked the bell
28kg 9 reps till I felt uncomfortable pausing in the rack position.
32kg 5 reps till feeling uncomfortable.
I have an can muscle through more reps but not the point.
Will video tape more of my workouts to keeps my myself accountable.
